Designed mainly for retrofit applications. They are applied to the exposed surface of the door and frame. Easily replaces butt hinges. No exposed screws once snap covers are installed. Made from extruded aluminum with self-lubricating polyester thrust bearings. Stocked in 83" length to fit a standard 7' door. Heavy Duty Grade 1 for doors up to 200lb (high frequency), 400lb (medium frequency) or 600lb (low frequency). Finished in Clear Anodized Aluminum or Dark Bronze Anodized.
